We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computer-aided design and be proficient in various CAD software applications. This role is essential in supporting our engineering and design teams by creating detailed schematics and models that contribute to the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and produce detailed CAD drawings and schematics using software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
* Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications.
* Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and project reports.
* Perform revisions and updates to existing drawings as required throughout the project lifecycle.
* Participate in project meetings to provide updates on design progress and address any technical challenges.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD is essential.
* Strong understanding of engineering principles and design practices.
* Experience in creating schematics for various applications is preferred.
* Excellent attention to detail with a strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across different disciplines.
* Ability to adapt to new technologies and software as required by project demands.
Desirables
* Proficiency in Revit software
* Previous experience in electrical design/engineering is desirable but not essential
