The role of Income Team Manager – Central Income Team will include:
1. Manage the delivery of an income service for a geographical area that maximises income streams
2. Ensure local KPI’s for income and arrears are achieved and that debtor / creditor accounts are effectively managed
3. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, residents, local operations, staff and external agencies
4. Manage the effective management all complaints for service area in line with policy, focussing on first contact resolution and the identification of future learning opportunities
5. Maintain effective financial systems by operating within appropriate financial policies and procedures to safeguard the organisation’s financial interests maximise income and ensure financial compliance
6. Meet all legislative and regulatory requirements for income management activities, ensuring the provision of accurate pre court protocols and eviction processes are adhered to
Skills and experiences:
7. Literacy and numeracy equivalent to passes in GCSE English and Maths
8. NVQ3 in Customer Service or Business Administration
9. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulations, legislation, good practice and welfare benefits
10. Some experience of managing projects with strong project management skills
11. Proven experience of staff management
12. Occasional travel may be requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential
