Based in a welcoming Primary School setting, this role places inclusion, high expectations and early intervention at the centre of school life. As SENDCo, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all pupils particularly those with SEND are supported to thrive academically, socially and emotionally from the earliest stages of their education.
As the SENDCo, you will:
1. Lead and manage the schools SEND provision, ensuring inclusive practice across all key stages
2. Line manage 8 support staff, providing clear direction, support and professional development
3. Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, parents and external professionals to identify, assess and meet a wide range of needs
4. Champion high-quality provision and access to learning for pupils with SEND across the curriculum
