Position Title: MDSA
Temporary until 31st July 2026 with the possibility of the role becoming permanent.
Part Time and Term Time 1 Hour per day (11.55am to 12.55pm)
Salary Details
Grade: G01
SCP: From 1 To 4
Salary: From £24,413 To £25,185 pro rata
Employment Start Date: Monday 23rd February 2026
The Governing Body of Southdown Primary School are looking to appoint a Midday Supervisory Assistants (Lunchtime Teacher) to supervise, support and engage with our children throughout the lunchtime period. This will either be on the playground and in the dinner hall ensuring the children’s safety and welfare along with supporting their play.
Ideally we are looking for someone who has experience of leading play and/or sports activities but this is not essential.
An Enhanced DBS is required for this position. Full details can be found in the job description.
The role is term time only.
