Responsibilities:
Deliver front-line technical support, showcasing a positive and professional attitude.
Conduct maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on automated machinery.
Offer proactive solutions to boost productivity.
prioritise health, safety, and welfare in all tasks.
Engage in ongoing training and skill development.
Collaborate with the Service Team Leader and Service Support Engineer on project updates.
Maintain meticulous records of all activities and customer interactions.
Promote after-sales services and identify new opportunities.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Strong technical maintenance knowledge within an automation environment.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, adaptable across cultures.
Proven experience in precision machine manufacturing and fault finding in mechanical/automation machinery.
Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations and electrical circuits (Single Phase, Three Phase, and DC).
IT technical background with experience in client/desktop support.
recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical/Electrical engineering disciplines; HNC, BTEC/ONC, or equivalent preferred.
Strong aptitude for both electrical and mechanical components, including pneumatics and PLC communication.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Additional qualifications in engineering disciplines.
Experience with advanced automation technologies.
