Our client has been building their strong reputation within mechanical and electrical installations nationally for over 40 years with a healthy turn-over exceeding £75m. Operating across three divisions they deliver a full range of services from concept and design through to construction, maintenance and security across a range of projects which include retail, storage, industrial, commercial office, healthcare, education and residential.
As part of their continued success in winning new work, which has seen them secure their target turnover for 2024, this project is a new-build healthcare scheme near Camberley. This project forms part of a phased construction programme, consisting of a new wing containing a diagnostics centre and intensive care unit with an M&E value of £10m (circa £6m Mech and £4m Elec). The scope of work covers what is typically associated with a hospital project and includes, lighting, small power, fire alarms, security, ventilation, heating & cooling, medical gasses and ancillary items. With the start of the project imminent, our client is looking to add an M&E Quantity Surveyor to team and is willing to consider either a middleweight or senior level candidate.
Key M&E Quantity Surveyor responsibilities:
