General Trust Accountabilities

Main Purpose of Job
Responsibilities
Financial Administration
* Process invoices, receipts, and expense claims using accounting software
* Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
* Assist with bank reconciliations and management accounts
Project Support
* Track project budgets and expenditure
* Assist with financial planning for community initiatives
Administrative Duties
* Provide support to the finance team and coordinate audits
* Support VAT return processes and data protection compliance
Relationships
Internal: Head of Finance, Finance Manager, Trust employees, Brentford FC finance team
External: External auditors, tax advisors, bank contacts
Minimum Requirements
* At least 2 years' experience in finance or accounting
* Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Desirable
* Knowledge of VAT and grant funding
* Experience in charity or sports sectors
* Accounting qualifications or progress towards qualification

* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Numerical and analytical skills
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities
* Understanding of basic accounting principles
* Confidentiality and data security commitment
