Main duties of the job
The Rapid Diagnostic Centre Administrator provides specialist knowledge for the pathway of cancer patients across Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, facilitating the smooth running of the patient journey by ensuring the pathway is coordinated, streamlined and centred around the patient and their individual needs.
This role will have a primary base at one of the three hospitals and will provide cross‑cover within the tumour site teams to ensure consistent and effective support for all cancer sub‑specialities is maintained at all times.

Qualifications
* GCSE Maths/English Grade C or above, or equivalent
* A level or NVQ3 qualifications
Experience
* Experience of applying hospital administration systems
* Significant previous administrative experience within a healthcare setting
* Supporting information demonstrates up‑to‑date knowledge and understanding key access targets

Salary
£28,392 a year (Pro Rata for Part Time)
