<div><h3>Role Overview</h3><p>We are seeking to appoint an experienced Doctor as a Specialist Clinical Fellow (ST3+) in Acute Medicine at Frimley Park Hospital.</p><p>We are looking for a proactive and passionate individual to work with a fantastic team of doctors, advanced nurse practitioners, nurses and medical technical assistants. We have regular medical students, physician assistant students and clinical observers on our unit. Our trainees come from the KSS Deanery with 2 Acute Internal Medicine registrars already in place, as well as Internal Medicine and ACCS Trainees within the department.</p><h3>Rotations and Teaching</h3><p>Each post rotates between the ambulatory care (SDEC) unit and the main AMU inpatient ward. There is regular teaching within the unit and a wealth of specialty experience in the 11 consultants that support the unit.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute medical conditions.</li><li>Ensure efficient patient flow and excellent clinical outcomes.</li><li>Participate in governance activities, including mortality reviews and QIPs.</li><li>Contribute to departmental and trust-wide educational activities.</li><li>Teach medical and physician assistant students and present on the departmental peer‑led teaching program.</li></ul><h3>Benefits and Flexibility</h3><p>Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is committed to being an inclusive and disability‑confident employer.
