What started with one salon in Mill Hill over 42 years ago has grown into a leading salon group with 16 locations across North West London, a world-renowned academy in the heart of the city, and over 300 team members. We’re now looking for a Social Media Executive to join our marketing team to help grow our online community and evolve our digital presence, with a strong focus on creative content.
You’ll need 2+ years’ experience in a social media role, a keen interest in the hair and luxury fashion space and know what makes a scroll-stopping video! This is a super exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, creative environment, and to make a real impact.
So, what will you be doing?
Research and Ideas – Work closely with the Social Media and Marketing Manager, Head of Brand, and HOB Academy Creative Team to develop content ideas and campaign concepts. Stay up to date with the latest trends, platform updates, and competitor
activity.Creat ive Content Delivery – Ca pture and edit engaging content for our channels: HOB Salons, HOB Academy, HOB Man, Akin Konizi, and HOB Family, with a focus on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. From creating chatty TikToks in the salons to filming BTS on set… you’ll be at the heart of what’s going on at HOB!Copyw
riting and Community – Br ing our brand voices to life through smart, on-brand copy and help manage community interactions across platforms.Influ
encer Outreach – Id entify and reach out to relevant creators to support campaigns, launches and brand storytelling and manage ongoing relationships.Colla
borate – Wo rk with our salon managers, stylists and educators to ensure content aligns with our broader marketing goals.Sched
uling and Organisation – Su pport with scheduling content and maintaining an organised content calendar to meet deadlines and keep everything running smoothly.
About you
2+ years experience in social media, brand communications and content creation.
A sharp copywriter and storyteller, with the ability to adapt your tone of voice across multiple HOB brands.
You bring energy, curiosity and attention to detail to everything you do.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Thrive in a team, but confident managing your own tasks independently.
A genuine love for social and marketing, and always on top of what’s trending. Happy to be on camera and confident with bringing ideas to life!

This is a full-time hybrid position, based across our Charing Cross and Radlett offices, with one or two days working from home (depending on what’s going on each week). You’ll also be regularly out and about across our salon locations, so you’ll need to be confident working with people, whether it’s our stylists, models, or influencers to capture the best content!
