The Cancer Pharmacist Team at UHDB has a longstanding reputation for proactive and innovative work, utilizing cutting-edge technology and responding effectively to new treatment implementations within the Trust.
Working across multiple sites, the team exemplifies true collaborative cross-site working, delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing chemotherapy in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
The team also includes several non-medical prescribers who support clinicians in chemotherapy clinics, independently prescribing SACT, managing toxicities, and providing patient support and advice.
