Key Responsibilities of the ECT: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge pupils. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners. Assess and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform planning. Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learning experience. Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff. Uphold high standards of behaviour and classroom management. ECT Requirements: A relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). A passion for teaching and a commitment to continuous professional development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive and reflective approach to teaching. An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps). An enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
