Swansea Bay University Health Board invites you to apply for the Senior Clinical Fellow post (equivalent to ST3). The post is ideal for candidates who have completed a core ENT training post and wish to develop their skills in this area.
Responsibilities
* Be part of the ENT middle grade rota (1 in 6 prospective cover) and participate in team working with supervision from more than one ENT consultant.
* Undertake duties in CAS clinics, outpatient clinics and assist in theatres.
* Deputise for absent colleagues and, in exceptional circumstances, perform additional duties to ensure the safe running of the department; where these duties fall outside contracted hours, receive an equivalent off-duty period or appropriate remuneration.
* Provide advice to clinicians in hospital and primary care, originating from telephone calls or ward referrals, and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team to promote patient safety under supervision of an ENT Consultant.
Contract and Hours
This is a permanent post and can be worked on a Full or Part Time basis; contracted to a basic 40 hours per week plus additional hours for on-call rota (average 48 hours per week). Salary will be confirmed in advert.
