Overview
Bradley Stoke Community School are looking to appoint a dedicated and adaptable Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and welcoming learning support team. The role supports the academic progress and mental wellbeing of students with additional needs. The post is temporary for one year, 21 hours per week, term time only plus INSET days. The post is dependant on funding; additional hours are likely to be available and there may be a possibility of a contract extension if funding remains available. Responsibilities
* Work with a range of teachers to deliver high-quality teaching and learning to enable learners to achieve high standards and make good progress.
* Provide 1:1 or small group support for children as required.
* Assist with assessments and help create learning resources in collaboration with teachers.
* May be required to work across both primary and secondary phases, most likely based in the secondary phase.
* Support the learning support team to improve academic progress and mental wellbeing of students with additional needs.
