Base pay and location
Join Alcedo Care LOCAL BRANCH as a Complex Care Assistant working within the areas of Blackpool, Lytham St Annes and Garstang. Excellent rates of pay £13 to £14.50. PLUS Pension PLUS Holiday Pay (equating to a Rolled Up pay rate of £15.01 to £16.74).

Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with complex health needs, including spinal injuries, respiratory conditions, and neurological disorders.
* Receive comprehensive training and competency sign-off from in-house Registered Nurses to ensure confidence in the role.
* Carry out clinical tasks such as manual cough assist, digital stimulation for bowel management, postural and spinal support, PEG care, tracheostomy care, and provide ongoing assistance with continence, medication, mobility, meal preparation and helping with household tasks.
* Promote independence and bring a positive, caring presence to those supported.
Qualifications
* At least 6 months of hands-on care experience in a UK care setting.
* Willingness to work flexible hours including late evenings and night shifts; aged 18 or over due to role requirements.
* Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
* Experience with complex POC specifics is preferred but not essential if training is provided.
