What's involved with this role: JOB TITLE: Countryside Ranger and Caretaker REF: Derbyshire 5275618 Pay rate: £15.40 per hour PAYE Contract Type: Temporary, Anticipated 2 to 3 months Working Arrangement: On site only The role: On behalf of a local council, we are seeking a Countryside Ranger to undertake practical land management tasks for recreation and conservation, as part of site maintenance. You will have keyholder duties to unlock/secure country park toilets, barriers and visitor facilities and be able to work a daytime shift pattern of 5 days out of 7 and able to work every other weekend (plus working a daytime 9am to 5pm with 36-minute lunch break i.e. 37 hours a week). What the client is looking for: Experience in countryside management, urban greenspaces and visitor site management Excellent communication skills and is customer focused.
