A growing FMCG organisation is seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to take ownership of management reporting and deliver key insights to drive strategic decision-making. This is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to shape financial reporting processes and collaborate across multiple business functions.
This role is ideal for a hands-on individual with strong analytical capabilities and technical expertise in Excel and SAP. You will play a pivotal role in delivering financial insights and improving data quality and reporting efficiency.
What will the Finance Business Partner role involve?
Own and develop all management reporting, including the preparation and publication of weekly and monthly financial reports.
Identify, summarise, and implement improvements in reporting packs and dashboards.
Investigate data anomalies and resolve issues stemming from integration or process gaps.
Review P&L and balance sheet data, ensuring accuracy and supporting journal and results processes.
Lead revenue recognition activities and support internal and external audit requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and drive process improvements.
Translate complex financial data into clear insights for both finance and non-finance colleagues.
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Business Partner vacancy:
Advanced Excel skills with proven experience using SAP.
Preferably skilled in Power BI or similar visualisation tools.
Track record of proactively improving reporting systems and processes.
Strong understanding of month-end and supply chain processes.
Excellent communicator with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly and confidently.
Independent, delivery-focused and results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
