Role Overview
As a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for providing interventions under the guidance of a registered Speech and Language Therapist. You will also provide feedback on client progress, attend meetings, and advocate for clients and their families alongside the treating therapist. Your role will also involve supporting the indirect actions of Speech and Language Therapist such as creating programmes and assisting with scheduling, development of resources and assistance in service improvement projects. At Momenta Connect we are committed to providing a supportive environment where assistants can learn, grow, and achieve the best outcomes for themselves and their clients. We offer numerous CPD opportunities throughout the year to support your continued skill development, and our wellbeing team and supervisor support are available to provide mental health and wellbeing support during your working week if needed. This is a clinical hub and school hybrid role where you will support with and deliver clinic based sessions within an outpatient setting alongside SEND school based work supporting the therapy team with resourcing, administrative tasks and clinical delivery under the guidance of a delegating therapist. Momenta Connect offers an end-to-end solution designed to support children facing complex educational and emotional barriers. Our services are aligned with best practices from Outcomes First Group, ensuring our interventions are expert-led and impactful.
