We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Food Production Specialist. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and safety within our culinary operations. Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of food items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
* Ensure all food production meets health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
* Assist with butchery tasks, including the preparation of meats and other proteins as required.
* Collaborate with team members to optimise food preparation processes and enhance overall kitchen efficiency.
* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management promptly.
* Maintain high standards of food safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
* Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food production techniques.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in food production or a similar culinary role is essential.
* Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
* Experience in butchery is highly desirable but not mandatory.
* Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an advantage, showcasing the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes.
