This is a pivotal factory-based role where you will be fully responsible for driving the Health and Safety agenda across our manufacturing and packing areas. You will play a critical role in supporting a 'safety-first' culture by generating, reviewing, and maintaining comprehensive risk management documentation, ensuring compliance for all persons that enter site, and fostering strong relationships with our teams How you will contribute Risk Management & Documentation: Lead the review, organization, update, and maintenance of Safety Maps, Safety Stations, SME for all site risk assessments for warehouse, production and packing areas, working with the team to reduce risks and keep documents up to date. Ensure all staff are trained and aware of these essential safety tools. Incident Management: Oversee behavioral safety observations, near miss reporting, safety concerns, and accident/incident tracking and trending, participating in investigations to ensure timely closure of non-conformances and developing resolution systems based on Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Compliance & Standards: Ensure our facilities adhere to both Company and governmental/community regulations. Provide crucial Health & Safety input for all new projects and change management activities (e.g., change control, CDM). Training & Engagement: Develop and deliver re-training and coaching to promote a safety-perfect culture, ensuring Health & Safety standards and awareness are deeply embedded throughout the plant organization. Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with Operators and Line Managers to effectively gather necessary details for high-quality risk management documentation. Liaise closely with the EHS Manager to ensure alignment with Mondelez and regulatory requirements. LOTO Program: Maintain and update the Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) map for all production areas, ensuring comprehensive staff awareness and training for compliance. Ethical Leadership: Uphold ethical and legal compliance responsibilities, modeling compliant behavior and fostering an environment where employees feel safe to speak up. What You'll Bring: Certification: NEBOSH General & Environmental certificate or equivalent qualification. Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. GMP Knowledge: Good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is highly preferred. Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word & Excel. Proactive Approach: A self-starter with a proactive approach to EHS, committed to continuous improvement.
