About The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced HGV- Fueller to join our Garage team. This is a key role, ensuring that all NWH vehicles - and those of our customers - are safe, compliant, and ready for the road.
This role will be based at our Head Office and reports to the Garage Manager or Workshop Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
1. Diagnosing and rectifying all types of tyre defects
2. Refuelling vehicles safely and diligently
3. Inspecting tyres each time vehicles return to the workshop
4. Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and promptly
5. Maintaining workshop cleanliness and housekeeping standards
6. Using specialist tools in line with Health & Safety guidelines
7. Always demonstrating a proactive approach to safety and PPE compliance
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone with:
8. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role (Desirable)
9. Good organisational and communication skills
10. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
11. A strong team player with a can-do attitude
12. Awareness of Health & Safety regulations
13. HGV Class 2 licence (Desirable)
14. Experience of working with HGV or specialist vehicles (Desirable)

The Company

On this journey to eliminate waste we provide waste collection services to the Commercial & Industrial, Office, Leisure & Retail and Construction industries. Collecting waste with our fleet of Trade Refuse, Skip, Tipper, Grab and Walking Floor articulated vehicles, we transport materials to our material recycling facilities where we produce and recover valuable products such as metals, cardboard, paper, washed sands, biomass for energy and animal bedding.
