We are seeking a creative, hands-on Marketing & Communications Lead to drive internal and external communications across a global defence and aerospace organisation. You will keep teams engaged, raise the company’s profile in the industry, and support high-profile customer-facing events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement global communications strategies aligned with business objectives and product launches.
* Create and oversee content, including brochures, white papers, case studies, and multimedia assets.
* Plan and manage campaigns for trade shows, exhibitions, and product launches.
* Manage digital presence across websites, LinkedIn, and sector-specific forums; analyse performance metrics.
* Serve as media contact and represent the company in industry bodies.
* Develop stakeholder communications for government, defence, and commercial partners, ensuring compliance with export regulations.
* Plan and execute events, including VIP delegations, product demonstrations, conferences, and internal engagement initiatives.
* Lead internal communications, including intranet management, newsletters, leadership updates, and staff engagement.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Degree in Marketing, Communications, International Relations, or related field.
* Experience in marketing communications within defence, aerospace, or naval sectors.
* Proven track record delivering international campaigns and high-stakes communications.
* Strong understanding of maritime/defence procurement and export controls.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
* Experience managing CRM, intranet, and website platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, WordPress).
* Proficient in design and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe Suite).
* Willingness to travel internationally and work across time zones.
* Sole British nationals only; security vetting required.
