This is a full-time support role to assist the London Breast Screening Admin Hub by executing essential operational activities efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner. The role supports the call centre and related administrative functions under the supervision of the Office Manager.
The responsibilities include managing administration related to the call centre, collaborating with external breast screening services within the Pan London structure, and liaising with Administration Team Leaders to ensure functional integration and cover for short-term absences. All Senior Admin Officers are expected to develop comprehensive knowledge and provide cover for each other's key responsibilities as specified by the Office Manager and Team Leader, who will arrange necessary training.
The role requires delivering support services aligned with Trust and NHS Breast Screening Programme guidelines and targets. The successful candidate will use experience and judgement to provide appropriate advice and guidance within their area of responsibility, referring to Team Leaders as necessary. The role involves working within a shift pattern, including weekends and late evenings, to cover the Hub telephone call centre and administrative tasks.
