We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Band 6 Registered Nurse to join our Gynaecology Oncology service at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (UHSussex), based at RSCH, Brighton.
This is an exciting opportunity to support women throughout their cancer pathway, delivering high-quality specialist care within a supportive multidisciplinary team environment. The successful candidate will contribute to service development, patient education, and clinical leadership while ensuring patients remain at the heart of everything we do.

This role is eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) Skilled Worker route however sponsorship can only be provided where applicants meet the specific requirements set by UKVI, including the relevant skill and salary thresholds (£25000), and any role-specific criteria.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
1. Deliver specialist nursing care to patients with gynaecological cancers
2. Act as a key worker supporting patients and families through diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
3. Coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient, and community services
4. Participate in MDT meetings and contribute to patient pathway coordination
5. Provide education, advice, and psychological support to patients and carers
6. Support audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives
7. Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to junior staff and students
