Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Commis Chef with a passion for service excellence. You will report to the Head Chef, supporting/working towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the city.
The Commis Chef will:
Be responsible for the preparation of food for all service areas per the standards indicated by the Head Chef
Provide exceptional service by demonstrating full knowledge of our products and facilities
Ensure planning and preparation for service is completed in a prompt and efficient manner
Work collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver captivating experiences
Assist the Head Chef in the promotion and management of the criteria for the AA Rosette Standards throughout all required areas
To be successful in the role of Commis Chef, we require:
Excellent organisation skills
An ability to bring the guest experience to life throughout the hotel
The ability to communicate and organize yourself in line with different guest expectations
A good command of English is essential, a second language is advantageous
