We're hiring Help shape the future of St John's Bakery
Are you a skilled baker or pastry chef with a flair for flavour and a love for all things sweet? We're looking for someone with passion, creativity and an eye for detail to lead our in-house bakery.
Responsibilities
* Bake and decorate cakes, tray bakes, and pastries for both Barnstaple and Ashford cafes.
* Keep our classics perfect, and develop new seasonal bakes.
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
* Manage ingredient orders, stock levels and production schedules.
Experience
* Proven experience working as a baker or pastry chef in a café, bakery, hotel or patisserie.
* A strong repertoire of cakes, bakes, pastries and sweet treats.
* Reliable, organised and proud to take ownership of your kitchen.
* Creative flair and a passion for trying new ideas.
* Great communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Hours- 2 days per week
Job Type: Part-time
