Role Overview:
We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a leading global player in the AI space. This remote, part-time contract role leverages your background in English and the Humanities to improve AI reasoning and writing capabilities. You will provide expert feedback on complex topics related to literature, history, philosophy, and social sciences, ensuring the AI can handle nuanced cultural contexts, conduct critical analysis, and write with academic rigor.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate AI responses to prompts involving literary analysis, historical events, philosophical arguments, and social science concepts.
* Fact-check AI outputs against reliable academic sources to ensure historical accuracy and correct attribution of ideas.
* Assess the AI’s ability to detect nuance, avoiding bias and navigating sensitive cultural or ethical subjects appropriately.
* Write original, high-level examples of essays, summaries, and critiques to demonstrate ideal reasoning and writing structure.
* Create and refine prompts that test the model’s depth of knowledge and ability to synthesize information across humanities disciplines.
Qualifications:
* Academic background or strong domain knowledge in English Literature, History, Philosophy, Social Sciences, or a related Humanities field.
* Experience with academic writing, research, or teaching is highly desirable.
* Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze arguments for logical soundness and rhetorical effectiveness.
* Excellent command of written English, particularly in formal and academic contexts.
* Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, managing time across multiple projects.
Compensation and Benefits:
* Rate: Earn up to $18 USD/hr (Rates vary based on project complexity and expertise).
* Flexibility: 100% remote with no fixed schedule. Contributors typically spend 5–10 hours per week, with the option to work up to 40 hours.
