A Specialist Teaching Role That Truly Changes Lives
At Think Education Partners, we are proud to support schools that provide exceptional, nurturing environments for pupils with autism. We are working with a fantastic school seeking a dedicated Autism Resource Centre (ARC) Teacher, someone who brings patience, creativity, and a deep understanding of how to help autistic learners thrive.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and wants to make a meaningful impact every single day.
About the Role
As the ARC Teacher, you will:
* Lead a small, well‑supported class within the school’s Autism Resource Centre
* Plan and deliver personalised, engaging learning experiences
* Use a range of communication approaches (e.g., visual supports, structured routines, sensory‑aware practice)
* Work closely with a skilled team of support staff
* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families
* Collaborate with SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals
* Create a calm, structured environment where pupils feel safe, understood, and celebrated
You will be a great fit if you:
* Have experience working with autistic pupils (mainstream or specialist)
* Understand how to adapt teaching to meet a wide range of needs
* Are patient, reflective, and committed to inclusive practice
* Enjoy working as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team
* Want a role where you can see the impact of your work every day
Qualified teachers (QTS/QTLS) and strong ECTs with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
