Build and strengthen enterprise IAM at scale
We’re hiring an IAM Engineer to join a global Group IT Security function, where you’ll play a key role in designing, implementing and improving Identity & Access Management capabilities across a large, complex enterprise environment.
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who understands that IAM is not just access provisioning — it’s a core part of security, compliance and operational resilience.
You’ll work across IGA, SSO, MFA, PAM and identity lifecycle management, helping deliver secure, scalable identity solutions that support both day-to-day operations and wider security strategy.

What you’ll be doing
* Implement, configure and optimise identity governance capabilities within an enterprise IGA platform
* Design and deliver secure access control solutions across applications and business systems
* Assess existing identity and access controls, identify weaknesses and recommend technical improvements
* Design and support integrations for SSO, MFA and identity lifecycle management
* Implement and enhance Privileged Access Management (PAM) capabilities
* Support Just-in-Time (JIT) and Just-Enough-Access (JEA) access models
* Build and maintain automation and scripting solutions to improve IAM processes
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM-related technical issues
* Produce and maintain clear technical documentation
* Support audit remediation, security controls and identity-related compliance requirements
* Work closely with security, infrastructure, IT and application teams to deliver effective IAM solutions
What we’re looking for
* Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
* 5+ years’ experience in IGA / IAM / IDAM engineering or development within a large enterprise
* Strong hands-on experience with enterprise IAM platforms such as Saviynt, SailPoint or Okta
* Experience designing and implementing Privileged Access Management solutions
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID
* Experience with CyberArk or similar PAM technologies
* Scripting capability, ideally PowerShell
* Experience integrating IAM solutions via APIs
* Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect
* Good understanding of identity protocols, IAM frameworks and security best practice
* Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements related to identity and access
* Exposure to identity lifecycle automation
* Any understanding of IAM use cases within OT / ICS environments would be highly beneficial

Salary
£50,000 – £70,000
