We are now seeking a Substance Misuse Nurse to join our Southwark service—an opportunity to play a key role in delivering clinically led, person-centred interventions within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team. About the role As a Substance Misuse Nurse, you will provide specialist clinical interventions to individuals affected by drug and/or alcohol use, supporting them through their treatment and recovery journey. Working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, you will: Deliver high-quality clinical assessments and interventions Support individuals through detoxification, prescribing and recovery pathways Contribute to the development of safe, effective and responsive clinical services Manage risk and promote harm reduction and recovery-focused care Work closely with partner agencies to ensure joined-up, holistic support This is a role where clinical expertise meets compassion—where your work will directly improve outcomes and support long-term recovery. Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week Allowance: £4133.14 Inner London Weighting, pro rata for part time Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract for 12 months *Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours. Salary is subject to review in line with the 2025/26 pay award Responsibilities The Substance Misuse Nurse role is a varied one, the successful candidate will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, offering specialist clinical interventions to people who use our services. Who we’re looking for You are an experienced and motivated nurse who brings both clinical expertise and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
