Estimator - Derby
Estimator - a leading global building contractor is searching for an Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team at their new office based in Derby.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator to play a pivotal role in securing and shaping future projects major design and build projects across the Midlands.
In this role you would work as part of the bid team to secure design and build projects ranging up to £50m.

Salary & Package:
- Great basic salary of £60,000 - £70,000
- Company car allowance (£6,500)
- Performance related bonus
- Pension & Healthcare
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar estimating role.
- Proven track record of pricing D&B projects
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Conquest, Causeway, or similar).
Key Duties:
- Lead the preparation of tenders, cost plans, and budgets.
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
- Work collaboratively with the design, planning, and delivery teams
To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record as an Estimator tendering projects ranging from £5m and above.
