To keep up with our growth in the UK and Ireland, we're looking for a dedicated Claims Handler to join our growing team in Birmingham. This is a key role in delivering a first-class claims experience to our clients, providing timely, empathetic, and effective claims handling across a variety of insurance products.

Using your skills, you will be:
Dealing with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and other third parties in a professional and timely manner
Managing client's claims including advice on cover and indemnity
Actively monitor progress on outstanding claims and provide timely and accurate feedback to clients and Account Executives
Liaising with Insurers, Loss Adjusters and other third parties
Dealing with claims on behalf of carriers on a delegated authority basis where agreements are in place
Providing technical and administrative support to the Directors and Account Executives
Undertaking other duties as assigned by Team Manager
Running and amending client reports
We're looking for someone with:
A high level of inter-personal skills with an ability to build successful, mutually beneficial business relationships
Communication skills – someone who is able to communicate to people with various levels of knowledge, face to face, over the telephone and in writing
Strong negotiation skills
Planning, organisational and time management skills
Problem-solving
Computer literacy and a thorough understanding of Company software
Good IT skills in particular Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
Report writing
Experience handling Property, Casualty and Motor claims
Experience working in a Commercial Insurance setting
Knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements
