We’re working with a well-established direct import business that’s been operating for over 25 years. With trusted global manufacturing partners, a strong reputation in the UK market, and listings across major grocers as well as independent channels, they’re growing fast and strengthening their wholesale team.
This new role has been created to focus specifically on the South of the UK, working alongside an experienced colleague who covers the North. You’ll be selling high-quality frozen fish products into Asian wholesalers, cash & carries, and fish merchants, with the support of a wider UK sales and technical team.
What you’ll be doing
1. Driving sales with wholesalers, cash & carries and fish merchants across the South of England
2. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
3. Identifying new business opportunities and developing growth in an already thriving market
4. Working closely with colleagues in technical, NPD and brand to ensure consistent quality and service
What we’re looking for
5. Solid experience selling into wholesale/cash & carries (fish expertise is essential, you’ll know your species and cuts inside out)
6. A strong network of fish trade contacts in the South UK
7. The ability to manage your own patch and time effectively, with a proactive and commercial approach
8. Based ideally within an hour’s radius of the M25
9. A full, clean driving licence
