The role
As a People Centre Administrator, you’ll be joining a team that underpins the smooth running of our operations, directly contributing to the success of projects that protect the nation and strengthen the future of defence, aerospace, and engineering. Day-to-day, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our people receive high‑quality support throughout every stage of their employee lifecycle.
1. Support employees and managers by handling HR enquiries escalated to the Employee Lifecycle Team.
2. Own and deliver casework across all stages of the employee lifecycle with accuracy and care.
3. Ensure processes comply with business standards and all relevant legislation, including data protection and employment law.
4. Resolve payroll queries in collaboration with Payroll and Time and Attendance teams.
5. Maintain employee benefits records and liaise with providers to support a seamless employee experience.
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days onsite and 3 days working from home.
Essential experience of the People Centre Administrator:
6. Previous experience in a fast‑paced HR or employee support role.
7. Strong time‑management skills with an organised, methodical approach.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
9. Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence communicating with colleagues at all levels.
10. A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications for the People Centre Administrator:
Essential:
11. Standard Grades including English and Mathematics.
Preferred:
12. CIPD Level 3 (advantageous but not essential).

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
