Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead a team of kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
* Oversee food preparation and production processes to maintain quality and consistency.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
* Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling costs.
* Train and mentor staff in culinary techniques, service standards, and hospitality practices.
* Develop menus in collaboration with chefs, focusing on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and increase patronage.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant environment.
Experience
* Proven experience in a restaurant management role or similar supervisory position.
* Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production.
* Previous experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
* Experience as a barista or in serving roles is beneficial for understanding front-of-house operations.
