Multi-Skilled Joiner/Tradesperson
Based in Ormskirk - Covering various locations within Lancashire.
£130 per day
Full Access to a work van during work hours
Exceptional Care provides multiple care homes for children and young people across the Northwest. We are looking for a skilled worker to join our team on a permanent basis to provide maintenance and repair work for our homes.
You will be part of the young people’s journey with us by making sure their home environment is safe, secure and comfortable. From repair work in current and new homes to decorating new bedrooms for young people that are joining, us giving them their own space.
Your Role
You will be working alongside other trades to carry out the required work across 8 different homes. Locations include: Rainford, Southport, Skelmersdale, Tarleton, Ormskirk, Garstang, Leyland and Aughton. You will also carry out necessary repairs within head office as and when required which is based in Ormskirk.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all matters relating to the continuous operation, maintenance, grounds and equipment are maintained in such a way that ensures a high-quality service is always provided. This with guarantee safeguarding, health, safety, building regulations and general well-being of all those accessing the site.
The working hours for this role will be 8.30 – 4.30 Monday to Friday – you may be required to work weekends on occasion
There is an option for over time
Our homes are utilised 24 hours a day, 52 weeks a year therefore you will have the responsibility of running the home from a maintenance perspective as and when required.
What You Will Need
* NVQ Level 3 in Joinery
* Full Driving Licence
* Appropriate references to confirm capability.
