About the role
We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Coventry Pavilion in Morley, WA. As a full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in the day-to-day running of our busy kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and leading a team of skilled chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
What you'll be doing
1. Assisting the Head Chef in the overall management and supervision of the kitchen brigade
2. Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in line with our seasonal menus
3. Monitoring stock levels and placing orders to ensure sufficient supplies
4. Maintaining strict health and safety standards in the kitchen
5. Training and developing junior kitchen staff
6. Collaborating with the Front of House team to ensure seamless service
7. Continuously seeking ways to improve kitchen efficiency and the guest experience
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or equivalent in a similar high-volume restaurant environment
* Exceptional culinary skills and a passion for using fresh ingredients
* Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate and develop a team
* Excellent time management and organisational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards
