This is a live-out position and is easily accessible by public transport, making it suitable for candidates commuting from across London. The role involves international travel throughout the year, during which the Butler will work alongside local staff in the principals’ private residences and support a busy schedule of formal dining and entertaining. Working as a Butler in this role offers a highly professional and varied position, combining front-of-house service, staff coordination, and household oversight. Key responsibilities include formal table setting and silver service at every family meal, welcoming and attending to guests, overseeing the presentation and cleanliness of front-of-house and living areas, and liaising closely with contractors and household staff. The Butler will also be responsible for stock ordering and inventory management, supervising the work of housekeepers, the laundress, and the chef, and taking an active role in overseeing the household relocation in March.
