EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We are currently on the lookout for a PMO Programme Controller to join our Capital team to be based at either our Finham, Coventry or Raynesway, Derby office.
You’ll play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of our capital programmes by ensuring that controls such as governance are implemented and maintained throughout the project’s lifespan.
You’ll provide assurance that programmes will deliver their objectives to schedule, through high quality governance groups and reporting. As well as this, you’ll undertake reporting, quality control, financial tracking, risk and issue tracking, change control and benefits tracking.
Some of your key accountabilities will be:
1. Lead the management of robust reporting and analysis of one of our key programmes within our Capital Delivery & Commercial portfolio.
2. Champion the use of reporting and analytical methods to maintain a consistent, data-driven approach to Project and Programme Management.
3. Ensure data accuracy is upheld, increasing stakeholder confidence in our reporting output
4. Act as a critical friend to Design, Delivery and Commercial stakeholders when assessing the health and deliverability of the programme and its commitments.
5. Presenting key programme insights to senior leaders and portfolio boards.
6. Support the programme in managing and mitigating key threats whilst identifying and exploiting opportunities
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Our new PMO Controller will bring experience of working within a programme management environment, whilst having a strong understanding of project controls such as financial, risk, and benefits management.
You’ll have solid knowledge of working in Excel and Power Bi and it would be great if you have some experience of using tools such as Primavera P and MSP, however this is not essential.
