The role of the post holder is to support the Quality Assurance programme.
The key tasks for this role are to ensure we meet our policy compliance demands and to support the wider functions of the clinical audit, CARE excellence accreditation teams, and quality assurance work streams.
This role requires a highly organized individual with solid project management skills and experience working across professional and organizational boundaries to help deliver sustainable improvements.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsibility for policy assurance, ensuring our policies meet the required standards, are up-to-date, shared, and consulted upon accordingly.
2. Ensure policies meet the required standards, including formatting.
3. Liaise with staff at all levels and support them to ensure their policies meet standards.
4. Arrange and facilitate the Policy Assurance Group, ensuring good representation.
5. Support individuals with lived experience involved in the Policy Assurance Group.
6. Produce formal reports on policy compliance.
7. Support CARE excellence accreditation activities through reviews and observations.
8. Assist with NICE compliance work by supporting the Clinical Audit Department in gap analyses for relevant guidance.
9. Support the gathering of information for Quality Accounts in a timely manner.
10. Assist the Clinical Audit Department with occasional data collection and inputting.
11. Perform ad hoc Quality Assurance tasks as required.
