Production Shift Manager – Food Manufacturing
Kings Lynn
£40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
4 on 4 off – Days & Nights (12-hour shifts)
You’re the one they rely on when the wheels threaten to come off.
You keep calm when the machinery misbehaves and the pressure starts to rise. You know how to run a shift, front to back. You understand what real ownership looks like – not because you were handed it, but because you earned it on the floor.
But let me ask you this…
When was the last time you felt genuinely proud of the product leaving your line?
If the answer isn’t “every shift,” maybe it’s time to lead somewhere new.
This Production Shift Manager role isn’t about watching the clock or hiding behind a desk. It’s about running a well-oiled, fast-moving food manufacturing operation – leading a close-knit team with high standards across safety, quality, and performance.
You’ll be the driving force on shift – managing production flow, overseeing stock, allocating tasks, and jumping in when challenges arise (they always do). You’ll make sure the right processes are followed, the right paperwork is done, and your team stays focused when things get hectic.
And you won’t be going it alone.
You’ll be backed by a leadership team that understands the value of strong shift managers. People who invest in development, offer real support, and trust you to get the job done right.
What’s in it for you?
* £40,000 - £45,000 salary, plus performance bonus
* Consistent 4 on 4 off shift pattern – 12-hour days & nights
* A voice in decision-making – not just someone following orders
* Clear progression opportunities and development pathways
* Excellent benefits: company pension, free on-site parking, life assurance, electric car scheme, savings & discounts platform, GP access, EAP support, free PPE, and more
Who are we looking for?
An experienced Production Shift Manager or similar, ideally from a food manufacturing or similarly regulated environment. You’ll understand the importance of hygiene, safety, and hitting output targets – and you’ll have the team leadership experience to keep things on track when things get tough.
Qualifications are helpful – a relevant apprenticeship or management certificate would be great – but it’s your ability to lead people, fix problems, and keep the show on the road that really matters.
Sound like you?
You’ve put in the hours. Now lead somewhere that recognises them.
Hit apply – and let’s talk about where this Production Shift Manager role could take you.
