You’ll be working at the forefront of cloud, virtualisation, and automation - helping shape scalable, secure, and cutting-edge infrastructure. 🚀
The Role 🛠️
You’ll design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade private cloud environments, working with a mix of virtualisation, containerisation, and automation technologies to deliver secure, high-performance infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities ✅
* Build and support private or hybrid cloud platforms using OpenShift, Kubernetes, and virtualisation technologies.
* Manage and maintain containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
* Automate deployments using Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
* Integrate and optimise compute, network, and storage solutions across environments.
* Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across Linux systems.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with development, networking, and security teams.
* Produce clear technical documentation and playbooks.
About You 👇
* Approx 5 years' experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure engineering.
* Strong background in virtualisation or private cloud (e.g., VMware, KVM, OpenStack, or similar).
* Hands-on experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and ideally Red Hat OpenShift.
* Confident in automation/orchestration (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or similar).
* Solid grasp of Linux systems, networking, and storage.
* Excellent troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.
* Must be based in Northern Ireland (hybrid Belfast role).
