We are supporting a fashion retailer in their search for a Buying and Merchandising Trading Assistant to join their Cambridgeshire Head Office.
The brand is going from strength to strength and have successfully carved themselves a niche in the market. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Merchandising Admin Assistant to grow in their career.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing intake into the warehouse, ensuring collections are received in time for launches
* Liaise directly with international factories and freight forwarders, negotiating costs
* Setting up stock on back office systems
* Actioning Monday trade reporting, covering line cards, covers by size, sell throughs
* Manage website visual merchandising across the brands 3 main territories
* Forecasting sales and stock level to achieve sale plans and margin/profit for the department
* Monitoring the department performance and identifying opportunities and highlighting risks
* Working closely with the Buying team, assisting with admin and adhoc tasks
* Assist with range planning, line card management and WSSI
The successful candidate will:
* Currently be a Merchandise Admin Assistant
* Be confident in Excel
* Have experience working in a fashion brand
* Be a quick learner and able to work within a dynamic team, adapting to the daily needs of the team
* Be commercially minded, with excellent analytic skills and high attention to detail
The role is hybrid, with a minimum of one day working from the brands Cambridgeshire Head Office.
