Vehicle Technician Required - Hitchin
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established Independent Sports Car Specialist, for the position of Vehicle Technician. This position offers an excellent opportunity for skilled and experienced motor trade professionals looking to work within a reputable, team-oriented environment focused on premium sports cars.
Benefits for the successful Vehicle Technician:
Up to £50,000 basic salary
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, with no weekend work.
Overtime available for additional earnings
Working with a dedicated independent sports car specialist workshop
Opportunity to work on a variety of services including diagnostics, engine repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.

Conduct vehicle inspections to identify technical issues
Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard
Use diagnostic equipment efficiently to identify faults
Execute complex repairs such as engine out jobs, clutch replacements, and cooling system repairs.
Carry out upgrades and modifications as required
Work in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workshop operationsRequirements of this Vehicle Technician role:
Prior workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician
Proven competence in servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs
Confident in tasks such as clutches, engine work, and component replacements
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Background in specialist, dealership, or independent garages will be considered
Qualifications not essential; time-served Technicians are encouraged to apply
Passion for working on sports and prestige vehicles
