Nailmaker Pub Co.
Our modern, village, free hold, business with six sites, our own cask and craft brewery, and gin distillery is looking to fill 2 roles for experiences Pub Supervisors to join the team in the Barnsley/Wakefield area.
It is a position that requires someone who is passionate, personable, energetic and capable of delivering excellent customer service and achieve high standards in all aspects of the operation. Reliability and the ability to work independently is crucial. There will be lone working involved in this role.
We are looking for someone who has a passion and knowledge of our products; from cask, and craft keg beer, gin and cocktails.
You must be able to provide customer service which is prompt, helpful, and engaging so having great social skills is essential. You must have a genuine interest in learning about our products and keep up to date with the changing offers.
Your Role:
* Delivering excellent customer service, exceeding their expectations and achieve exceptional customer satisfaction results
* Assist and support site manager in effectively running the pub.
* To contribute towards the content of subscribed social media platforms when required.
* To be 'hands on'
* To maintain all company procedures, food standards and health and safety policies
* Occasionally presenting the weekly pub quiz in a fun and professional manner.
* To manage and maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness around all areas of the pub.
* Adherence to the clear company cash handling, storage and banking procedures
Operational responsibilities
* Follow cellar management procedures.
* Bringing fun and enjoyment to the service team whilst ensuring the service level remains professional with high standards of personal appearance and attitude.
* Dealing with any customer complaints (either written or verbal) in an assertive, pleasant and totally professional manner to ensure that the situation is resolved to the complete satisfaction of the customer.
Commercial
* To assist with the site manager with bar stock holding and rotation to ensure is wastage is minimised.
* Understanding of the company operating systems for staff rota, private event bookings, online ordering etc.
Essential qualities
* A hard worker who is personable, energetic and capable of delivering excellent customer service and high standards.
* Passion/knowledge for real ale, craft beer, wine and cocktails
* Be a strong and positive representative of the business. Must strive to exceed customer expectations
* Honest, dedicated and hard working
* You must be a fun person with a good sense of humour who can enjoy work and the interaction with customers and other staff members
* Ambition, drive and the will to succeed and overcome challenges
* Fun, confident and enthusiastic personality who takes real pride in achieving exceptional customer service results.
* Attention to detail. Always keeping an eye out to make sure that all is in place.
* Enthusiastic to learn and willing to take instruction.
* Proficient in different social media platforms.
It is essential that you are able to work primarily evenings/ weekends and holidays
