Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Farnborough for a Stores Inspector. The Stores Inspector will be responsible for overseeing the inventory of aircraft parts and materials, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with company and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include inspecting incoming and outgoing goods, maintaining stock levels, managing storage conditions, and ensuring inventory accuracy. The Stores Inspector will work closely with procurement and maintenance teams to support timely operations and guarantee quality assurance for all stored items.
Qualifications
* Experience with inventory management, stock control, and storage procedures.
* Knowledge of quality assurance standards, compliance requirements, and inspection protocols.
* Familiarity with aircraft parts and materials is highly advantageous.
* Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
* Proficiency in inventory management systems or related software.
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work on-site and handle physical tasks within a warehouse or storage environment.
* Previous experience in aerospace, aviation, or a similar industry is a plus.
* Relevant certifications in inventory management or aviation maintenance are beneficial.
