Responsibilities Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Move materials within the warehouse, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying accuracy of shipments against documentation. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and locations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines. Skills Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on equipment. Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently. Familiarity with warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes. Experience with materials handling techniques and best practices.
