The Role:
As Workshop Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the workshop team, ensuring resources are optimised, performance targets are met, and customer expectations are exceeded. You'll be a hands-on leader who motivates, coaches, and develops technicians to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the workshop team to achieve departmental KPIs and service standards.
* Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and team briefings.
* Plan and allocate work effectively, balancing skills and capacity.
* Identify training needs and support career development across the team.
* Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Ensure clear communication between workshop and service reception.
* Uphold health & safety, brand standards, and customer satisfaction indicators.
* Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate when necessary.
* Maintain your own technical knowledge and agree a personal development plan.
