As a DevOps Engineer,youll collaborate with development and client-facing teams to shape and deliver robust, scalable, and efficient infrastructure solutions. Your role will focus on automating deployment pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, enhancing observability, and driving continuous improvement in operational practices. The Role Support teams in preparing and deploying environments for product iterations and demos. Build and manage secure, scalable infrastructureprimarily on AWS. Automate workflows and deployment pipelines to enhance reliability and efficiency. Assess and optimise hosting environments for cost, performance, and compliance. Participate in technical discussions with internal teams and stakeholders. Lead R&D efforts to explore and implement advanced platform capabilities. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and perform root cause analyses when required. Maintain and upgrade DevOps toolsets and platform services. Implement observability tools to detect and prevent bottlenecks and failures. Promote DevOps best practices focused on security, compliance, scalability, and resilience. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines. The Person Strong experience with JavaScript and modern server environments. Proficiency in Docker for both local development and deployment use cases. In-depth knowledge of networking (IP, DNS, HTTP, VPNs, load balancing, firewalls). Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., AWS CDK, Serverless framework). Background in CI/CD pipeline development and optimisation. Familiarity with designing for scalability, availability, and disaster recovery in cloud environments. Experience with both server-based and serverless architectures. Desirable Experience with observability and log aggregation tools (e.g., Kafka, Logstash, Splunk, Elastic, Kibana). Advanced AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro). Experience leading cloud migrations from on-prem or between cloud platforms. Certifications in other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud).
