Job Duties:
1. Providing high-quality care and education to children in the nursery
2. Planning and implementing activities to meet the individual needs of children
3. Monitoring and recording children's development and progress
4. Working in partnership with parents and carers
5. Maintaining a safe and stimulating environment for children
Required Qualifications:
6. Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) or equivalent
7. Valid Paediatric First Aid qualification
8. Enhanced DBS check
Education:
Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) or equivalent
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience working in a nursery setting
Knowledge and Skills:
9. Understanding of the EYFS framework
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
12. Strong organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
13. SEN training
14. Experience working with children with special educational needs
Working Conditions:
15. Work in a nursery setting
16. May involve lifting and carrying children
